Stainer's Organ method
I have been working on Stainer's organ finger substitutions for sixths and thirds. These are a real challenge for me but as othe things assigned by my teacher, I see the need. Other past challenges like these have done wonderful things for my playing.

Griffith Beach organ
I am going to play a 3/24 Griffith Beach theatre organ in someone's home this Saturday during an open console. It will be interesting to hear how it sounds. I will have to practice hand registering.

Turkish Towel
I have been looking for the music for "Turkish Towel" by Sammy Fain and I acquired a copy of "Turkish Towel Rag." Normally I could not attempt to play the original piano music from a rag. But I can make an acceptable shot at this one. It is in the key of C so it will be easy to work out an organ arrangement.
Look Lively
I have been working on creating a lead sheet for "Look Lively" by Billy Mayerl from a blurry photocopy. The tedious part is entering the lead line in my music transcription software, Encore. After that comes the challenge of figuring out the chords.
